About HLF MSP 2024

Why HLF MSP?

Reflecting on current multidimensional global challenges, transformative measures and stronger international cooperation have become more critical than ever in advancing the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. This cooperation should be effective, inclusive, and supported by multi-stakeholder partnerships (MSP).

Transformative MSP is a pivotal instrument for addressing today’s global challenges. It also echoes the need for inclusive and networked multilateralism, reinforcing trust among global stakeholders. Such transformative initiative also further cultivates the right to development, that brings the spirit of equality to partnerships among developing countries, which has been discussed as early as 1955, when Indonesia hosted the Asian-African Conference in Bandung.
