Amadou is currently a Senior Director Portfolio Management and Optimization at Africa Finance Corporation (AFC) where he also previously led the Project Development and Technical Solutions Sector Business Unit, as well as the Transport Sector Business Unit. Amadou auspiciously realized several landmark Infrastructure projects across the continent and served as a Non-Executive Board Director in several AFC investee companies including the US$1.3 billion Bakwena Toll Road Concession Company (South Africa) and the US$350 million Henri Konan Bedie toll bridge in Côte d’Ivoire.

Amadou completed an MBA program at Nottingham University Business School in the United Kingdom in September 2005. His other academic qualifications are an MSc degree in Transportation and Road Engineering from Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands and a BSc in Civil Engineering from the University of Maryland in the United States of America.
