Mr. Elsadani - Salem is a development professional with deep experience in rural development, agriculture, irrigation and drainage, water resources management. For the past 19 years, he has been working in number of reputable International Financing Institutions, e.g. the World Bank, the African Development Bank and the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD). Mr. El Sadani- Salem has proven record of accomplishment in identification, preparation and implementation of complex development projects; portfolio management; sectoral and country strategy development; and policy dialogue. He has also worked with development of country rural development and sectoral strategies including identification of project pipeline; as well as technical, institutional and policy angles. Mr Elsadani - Salem has hands on experience in engagement with stakeholders; developing Public Private Partnerships (PPPs); community development, conflict resolution; climate change; rural finance; development of rural enterprises; value chains, etc as well as extensive experiences in irrigation and drainage and infrastructure development. Mr. Elsadani Salem has managed number of large IFAD country programmes in different countries. He is a holder of Philosophy Doctor Degree in Soil and Water.
