Ketakandriana (“Ke”) is the Executive Director of Publish What You Pay (PWYP). A political scientist, researcher, activist, and Human Rights Defender, she has been the Coordinator of PWYP Madagascar since 2020 and previously was the Executive Director of Transparency International Madagascar from 2018 to 2024. Ke is the Vice Chair of Transparency International’s Board of Directors, a member of the International Board of the Fisheries Transparency Initiative (FiTI), and of the African Women Against Corruption Network’s Advisory Board. With extensive experience in the energy and the governance (anticorruption, transparency, accountability) sectors, Ke has also been engaged within national, regional and international civil society for almost 20 years. She holds a doctoral degree in Political Science from IEP Madagascar, and a doctoral degree in Sociology Applied to Development from the Catholic University of Madagascar, where she is lecturing on local democracy and citizens’ engagement.
